Behind the Scenes
The wort truck and wagon have been with us since the summer of 2018, right before we opened Commons. We needed a way to bring the wort (sugar water) from Caboose Tavern in Vienna, VA to Caboose Commons in Fairfax, VA to start the fermenting process in the tanks there.
The Wort Truck & Wagon were born — and have been a beloved part of the Caboose story ever since.
I like this spot. Stopped by here for lunch today while One-Wheeling with a friend on the W&OD trail. You can get to it directly from the trail which is awesome.
Come for the delicious beer and stay for the amazing food! Beer speaks for itself but I especially like the IPAs and the Pilsner.
Oh man, what an awesome brewery in Fairfax. Great customer service and a huge place, indoors and outdoors. Wide variety of beers and food. I strongly recommend.
